Advisory Board Member

David Devonshire

David W. Devonshire served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Motorola, Inc. for five years until his announced retirement in 2007. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Devonshire served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Ingersoll-Rand Company, and was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Owens Corning. Mr. Devonshire also served as Corporate Vice President and Controller for Honeywell before becoming the firm’s Corporate Vice President of Finance in 1992. He previously was Corporate Controller for the Mead Corporation and served in various roles at Baxter International, Inc. He began his career at KPMG.

Mr. Devonshire currently serves on the Board of Directors for Roper Industries, ArvinMeritor, Arbitron, and Career Education. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of CFO Magazine, L.E.K. Consulting, and Waterstone Capital. He is the Principal Financial Advisor to Harrison Street Capital and serves as a Trustee of the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

Cary Kochman

Cary Kochman is the North American Head of the M&A Group and Co-Head of the Chicago Office at Citigroup. Previously, Mr. Kochman was the Managing Director, Joint Global Head of M&A, Co-Head of Chicago Office & Midwest Region Investment Banking Department at UBS Investment Banking. Prior to joining UBS in 2004, Mr. Kochman worked at Credit Suisse for 14 years where during his final two years he was head of the U.S. M&A Department. Mr. Kochman is a member of the Illinois Bar and is both a C.P.A. and C.M.A. He serves as a Trustee of the Shedd Aquarium and is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, The Executive’s Club of Chicago and The Commercial Club of Chicago. Mr. Kochman is also a frequent lecturer at Northwestern University's MergerWeek.

Harry M. Jansen Kraemer, Jr.

Harry M. Jansen Kraemer, Jr. is an Executive Partner with Madison Dearborn and a Clinical Professor of Management and Strategy at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Mr. Kraemer is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Baxter International Inc. Prior to joining Baxter, Mr. Kraemer worked for Bank of America in corporate banking and for Northwest Industries in planning and business development.

Mr. Kraemer serves on the Board of Directors of Science Applications International Corporation, Sirona Dental Systems GmbH and VWR International, Inc. and on the Board of Trustees of Lawrence University, Northwestern University, The Conference Board and NorthShore University Healthsystem. He is a member of the Dean's Advisory Board at the Kellogg School of Management and the Dean’s Advisory Board of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

James "Jim" Lawrence

James "Jim" Lawrence joined Rothschild North America in June 2010 as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking. Prior to joining Rothschild, Mr. Lawrence served as Chief Financial Officer at Unilever and as Executive Director on the Boards of Unilever NV and PLC. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer at General Mills where he was also elected as their Vice Chairman. Prior to joining General Mills, Mr. Lawrence held positions as Executive Vice President of Northwest Airlines and President and CEO of Pepsi-Cola Asia, Middle East, Africa. He was also Co-founder and Chairman of The L.E.K. Partnership and a Partner of Bain and Company heading their London and Munich offices.

John F. "Jack" McGuire

John F. "Jack" McGuire served as the interim President and CEO of the American Red Cross for two years while continuing to serve as the Executive Vice President of Biomedical Services. Prior to joining the Red Cross, Mr. McGuire’s career included more than 22 years as a leader in the biomedical field. He has served as President of Whatman, PLC North America and President and CEO of Hemasure, Inc. Mr. McGuire also served in several positions at Johnson & Johnson's Ortho Diagnostics, Inc. including Managing Director positions in their UK and Belgium companies, and he ran two separate business units in immunohematology and immunology. Prior to Ortho Diagnostics, he held a variety of management positions focusing on strategic planning and marketing of biotechnology at DuPont. Mr. McGuire also served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Dennis Purcell

Dennis Purcell currently serves as the Senior Managing Partner at Aisling Capital. Previously, Mr. Purcell operated as Managing Director of the Life Sciences Investment Banking Group at Chase H&Q and served on the Executive Committee. Prior to joining H&Q, he was a Managing Director in the Healthcare Group at PaineWebber, Inc. Mr. Purcell currently serves as a Director of Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Dynova Laboratories and Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Biotechnology Industry Organization.

Lucia Quinn

Lucia Quinn joined ConvaTec as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs in April 2010. Previously, she served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC). Prior to joining BSC, Ms. Quinn was Senior Vice President at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. She joined Quest in 2001 as a member of the senior management team and was responsible for a portfolio of businesses with approximately $1 billion in revenue. Before joining Quest, Lucia was Vice President, Corporate Strategic Marketing for Honeywell International. Ms. Quinn has also held a variety of leadership positions in global technology companies Westinghouse, Digital Equipment, Compaq and AlliedSignal. Ms. Quinn is a published professional who has received numerous industry distinctions and awards. She is a current member of the Simmons College Board of Trustees, where she served as Chair from 2004 to 2007.

Robert Roath

Robert Roath is Chairman of the Board of Standard Parking Corporation's Board and Chairman of the Company's Compensation Committee. Mr. Roath has been a Director of InterDigital Inc. since 1997, where he serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee. Previously, Mr. Roath was Chief Financial Officer of RJR Nabisco, which he joined in 1990. Prior to joining RJR Nabisco, Mr. Roath held positions with Colgate-Palmolive, General Foods, GAF Corp., and Price Waterhouse. Mr. Roath is a member of the Advisory Board to the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He has been a speaker at various Director Seminars and was the keynote speaker at the first annual Business Ethics Conference at the University of Maryland.

Professor Walter J. Salmon

Professor Walter J. Salmon is the Stanley Roth, Sr., Professor of Retailing, Emeritus, at the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration where he has been a faculty member since 1956. Professor Salmon's Harvard career has included service as Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Senior Associate Dean and Director of External Relations. He has served on the Boards of Cole National Corporation, Co., Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., Luby's Cafeterias, Inc., The Neiman Marcus Group, Party City, Inc., PetsMart, Inc., Stage Stores, Inc., Stride Rite Shoes, Zayre Corporation and its then subsidiaries T.J. Maxx and BJ's. He has formerly served as Director of the Quaker Oats Company and outside Chairman of the Board of Hannaford Brothers. He was also a Director of the Harvard Business School Publishing Company, the Tufts Associated Health Plan Inc., and the National Retail Federation. Professor Salmon currently serves on the Board of Cumberland Farms and the MBL, formerly known as the Marine Biological Laboratories. He is also a Domain Advisor to the Highland Consumer Fund.
