Our corporate Environmental & Social Responsibility Program spans across a wide-ranging set of activities, including consulting to organizations focused on reducing global emissions, managing our own L.E.K. carbon footprint, supporting important local and global social issues, and providing pro-bono consulting and volunteer support to charitable organizations.
As a professional services firm, a large part of how we impact society and make a difference is through our consulting expertise and advice. We work for governmental and non-governmental organizations on projects for public education and health impact, such as supporting pharmaceutical breakthroughs and working with transport and infrastructure organizations to improve and enhance the value of publically funded facilities. L.E.K. supports a variety of not-for-profit organizations by providing consultancy services free of charge. Examples of recent pro-bono work include:
- Supporting the Red Cross in the development of its response to the Asian tsunami. Led by L.E.K.’s Sydney office, a framework was developed to evaluate where funds could have the greatest impact.

L.E.K. actively supports its employees, through the provision of financial resources and time, in activities that will make a contribution to the wider community. Employees are encouraged to suggest causes for the company to sponsor that will engage and provide rewarding opportunities for all staff. Such sponsorship takes the form of a variety of one-off projects, such as volunteering in local orphanages and building schools in rural China, as well as longer term commitments.
